Flange is a kind of disk-shaped parts, most common in pipeline engineering, flanges are used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for the connection of pipelines. In the need to connect the pipeline, a variety of installation of a flange, low-pressure pipeline can use wire flange, more than 4 kg pressure using welding flange. Seal points are added between the two flanges and then fastened with bolts. Different pressure flanges have different thickness and use different bolts. Flange is divided into threaded connection (wire connection) flange and welding flange. Low-pressure small diameter has a fillet flange, high-pressure and low-pressure large diameter are using welded flange, the thickness of the flange and the diameter and number of connecting bolts are different for different pressures.

According to the different levels of pressure, flange gaskets also have different materials, from low pressure asbestos gaskets, high pressure asbestos gaskets to metal gaskets are available.

Flange connections are easy to use and can withstand large pressures.

In industrial pipelines, flange connections are widely used. Within the home, where the pipe diameter is small and low pressure, flange connections are not visible. If you are in a boiler room or production site, there are flange connections everywhere for piping and equipment.
